WHY I WROTE THIS BOOK
- By admin
I wrote this book because there are so many beautiful girls around the world in all different shapes, sizes, shades, and etnicities that don’t consider themselves to be a princess, but they truly are. Our society wouldn’t consider them as princesses either because of certain stereotypes and images that have been emphasized decade after decade throughout history, and only a few have dared to add to its description.
The word (princess) in this context means royalty from lineage. I believe we were all created by God and anything that God creates is a masterpiece, and because God is Royalty, so are His creations. However, our attitude plays a huge part in our presentation of royalty. There are some people who physically wear the title and rankings of what the word royalty perceives to be, and they have the most sour attitudes and characters. There are also people that don’t have a physical title of royalty; however, their attitudes shine bright like diamonds. I wrote this book to show our beautiful girls all around the world, the difference. I also wanted to present the fact that just because you’re a princess, doesn’t mean that’s the only title you have to attain.
As we grow up in our childhood, we have hobbies and other things we like; however, sometimes society wants to put us in a box and tell us because we are titled one thing, that we should only do that one thing. Just because we’re princesses, doesn’t mean we can’t wear different titles. I often explain it this way, I’m Marlena to my friends, I’m mom, to my children, and I’m a sister to my siblings. I’m the same person, but I have multiple titles. A princess doesn’t have to limit herself to that one title.
In the books Three Princesses and Three Princesses (Powers and Gifts), these three beautiful princesses demonstrate their passion and love for other things such as ballet, cooking, singing, reading and karate. Once all three princesses came into the true knowledge and lined up with what their princess titles meant, they began to operate more meaningfully in not only their lineage, but the other things they’d loved so much were magnified and became part of who they were as well.
I believe adults as well as children can take something away from these books. Although these books are princess based, I believe any gender can gain something from reading them.
